A Guide to Every Merchant and Their Wares in Avowed's Dawnshore Region
Explore Avowed's Dawnshore merchant map and shops to uncover hidden treasures, essential gear, and game-changing items for every adventurer.
Stepping into the bustling port of Dawnshore in 2026's acclaimed RPG Avowed, fresh-faced envoys are immediately greeted by the hum of commerce. While the game may not sprawl as an open world, its meticulously hand-crafted maps are crammed with secrets and, crucially, a staggering array of shops. Just within the first major zone, centered on the hub of Paradis, no fewer than thirteen merchants stand ready to peddle their goods, from humble foodstuffs to legendary arms. Navigating this commercial labyrinth can be daunting, but for the discerning adventurer, knowing where to shop is as vital as knowing how to swing a sword.

The Merchant Map of Dawnshore
These traders are conveniently clustered around Paradis and its outskirts. The journey begins at Claviger's Landing, the docks where three vendors have set up shop.
-
The Best Offense: Run by Lynna, this is arguably the most important of the dock trio. She sells common variants of most armor types. Honestly, you'll probably loot better stuff off the first few skeletons you meet. But keep an eye out for her Wayfarer's Glove; it's not the strongest item in the world, but for a budding pyromancer or shield-bearer, it's a nice little find.
-
Valtur's Scavenged Sundries: Don't let the 'common' tag fool you. Valtur is a lifesaver for players who, let's be real, maybe picked the wrong starting weapon back in Fort Northreach. He's got nearly every weapon type available, right there on the docks. Sure, you'll find them eventually, but if you're itching to try out a greatsword or a wand now, Valtur's your guy.
-
Good For The Soul: Dagherda runs this spot, and besides having some interesting gossip about Valtur, she's your first source for potions and food. Her Salted Trout and Cooked Alabaster are a steal, offering a solid 70 health regen for just six gold. For the bookish types, her Murkbrew provides a tasty, long-lasting intellect buff.
Heading east into Shantytown, two more merchants await.
-
The Winding Serpent: Ryna's tavern offers a modest selection of drinks. Stocking up on grog is never a bad idea—it cures a nasty cocktail of poison, bleeding, and elemental buildups. Her Murkbrew is, once again, great for casters, and fresh water's speed boost can make exploration a breeze.
-
Second Hand Sundries: Just a few doors down, an unnamed merchant offers an eclectic mix. His Rathun Figurine amulet grants a sweet 10% fire damage bonus, a must-have for any fire mage or someone packing a grimoire of embers. Also, buy all his lockpicks. Seriously, just do it.
The Heart of Commerce: Paradis
Once Paradis proper is unlocked, its lower sections house five more vendors.
-
Clinic Extras (Underbelly): Run by Liviana on the border of the Underbelly and Administration District, this clinic is your go-to for a post-fight top-up. She'll likely be your primary source for potion restocking. Her Alls Leaf Tea is also a fantastic pick for spell-slingers, restoring essence and boosting your max pool.
-
The Grinning Balarok (Underbelly): This seedy eastern tavern mainly deals in drinks. For ranged specialists, the Fine Aedyran Mead offers some perception and essence. But the real draw here? The fine arquebus is a decent option if you're dead set on using a two-handed rifle, as, sadly, Dawnshore doesn't hide a unique one.
-
Premium Protection (Market District): Gweneth's shop, right in the city's heart, lives up to its name and then some. She offers a Fine Quality assortment of nearly every weapon and armor type. If crafting isn't your thing, buying a fine weapon from Gweneth is a straightforward way to keep pace with the growing threats.
-
Might Through Magic (Market District): Gweneth's twin, Merylin, has a different philosophy. Her shop is a haven for the magically inclined, selling nearly every enchanting material you could want. Her grimoire of greater elements is a standout, though her unique armor offering is a bit of a let-down.
-
Desperate Measures (Apothecaries Shop): Despite Grysca's role in local events, his shop isn't particularly helpful. It's good for lockpicks and potions, but that's about it. You can probably give this one a miss unless you're desperate.
The Northern Treasures
The final and perhaps most rewarding cluster of merchants resides in Northern Paradis, forming a rough triangle around the zone's edges.
-
Extremely Legal Goods: Kerdhed Colen, or 'Cutty' as he's known, with his slick mustache and back-alley stall, doesn't inspire confidence. Ironically, Cutty's best item is, well, Kith Meat. Morality aside, it gives a hefty 20% damage boost against most humanoid enemies. His Blackwing Boots are a solid runner-up for agile fighters.
-
Sanza's Makeshift Emporium: Located near the High Market Gate, this is the one shop you absolutely do not want to miss. If you're hunting for Woedica's totems, the Fragment of the Scales she sells is essential. The Beetle Bulwark is one of Dawnshore's most interesting uniques, spawning a beetle companion on a successful parry. She also sells a treasure map leading to another powerful item and a top-tier collection of enchanting materials.
-
Paradisan Military Surplus: Perched next to Ondra's Temple, this shop is a must-visit for any serious adventurer. It sells The Long Touch, a bow many consider one of the best in all of Avowed and the premier choice for stealth builds. The Wayfarer's Armor is also a fantastic heavy armor piece with a 10% movement speed enchantment—a real time-saver. This shop is another must-visit location, cementing Northern Paradis as the true shopping destination for endgame-ready gear.

Shopping Smart in the Living Lands
Here’s the bottom line: most common weapons and armor sold by these vendors can be found through exploration. Pouring gold into Fine Quality generic gear is a huge money sink. You're far better off buying crafting materials and upgrading the unique armor and weapons you find or purchase.
Focus your funds on the standout uniques. Beetle's Bulwark and The Long Touch are fantastic options with enchantments that truly change gameplay. The Rathun Figurine is a cornerstone for fire builds. Even the curiously named 'Disappointer' pistol can be a fun, if suboptimal, experiment. After securing the essentials—maps, lockpicks, and potions—feel free to experiment with the unique wares Dawnshore's merchants have to offer. In the end, their shops are more than just storefronts; they are vital waypoints in shaping your envoy's journey through the Living Lands.
