Most treasure maps in Avowed are either scattered around the world or sold by traders in the main towns. When I got to Thirdborn (the big settlement in Shatterscarp), I naturally checked every merchant and found nothing. Rookie move—the map for the Robe of the Arcane Cheater is sold by a shady vendor hiding waaaay off the beaten path.

You need to head to the upper-middle section of the Shatterscarp map, specifically the other side of those rocky hills that hide Tago’s Tower. As you wander near a tiny cave nestled in the cliffs, you‘ll spot a lone trader marker. The dude literally just chills there, probably because nobody else would survive the heat.
